Welcome to the Coalition for Placer Youth. Thanks for visiting our site.

We are a group of parents, educators, community leaders and volunteers that come together for one reason: to help prevent and reduce substance abuse among youth in Placer County.

A recent survey of Placer County teens shows that alcohol, marijuana, illegal prescription drugs and other drug use is happening at alarming rates.

Our goal is to give parents and concerned community members the information, resources and education necessary to help raise awareness of the problem, offer easy solutions, and give parents the power to get involved and take action to prevent and reduce teen substance abuse in Placer County.

We hope you find this site useful and always welcome your feedback. Please submit any feedback, questions or concerns using our CONTACT US page.
